Set on an accurate 17th century Caribbean map, World of Pirates pits players against each other in a battle on the high seas.

The game is a 2D offering with a blend of both RPG and strategy elements. Gameplay cernters around raising your characters and ships up as well as engaging in diplomacy, and building cities. There are quests and missions to undertake as well.

Players can build their fleets, take on others, as well as establish trade to succeed on multiple levels. Others are competing as well, and may try to sink your fleet or sack what you have worked so hard for. WOP is a subscription-based game, but there is a 10-hour free trial available.
