According to a new forum post on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic site, Bioware, developers of SWTOR, is in "restructuring" mode, usually PR-speak for employees losing their jobs. The actual number of redundancies is not given.

Erickson Denies Declining Sub Numbers
BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic Lead Designer Daniel Erickson has denied recent claims that the number of subscribers to SWTOR are in decline. Last week, financial analyst Cowen & Company projected that SWTOR's subscriber base would likely be reduced by the end of fiscal March 2013. Erickson, however, says that this is not true.

Subscriptions Declining Says Analyst
According to a new report from Cowan and Company, subscription numbers for Star Wars: The Old Republic are in decline. According to the report, subscriptions peaked in February with 1.7 million subscribers. At the end of Q1 of fiscal year 2013, the analyst group is predicting a fall in subscriptions to 1.25 million.
