Trion Worlds is getting ready to hit Rift's official first year anniversary in a big way. In a new state of the game letter on the official forums, Executive Producer Scott Hartsman takes a look back at the past year and the amazing strides the game has taken in its short lifespan.

After detailing the accomplishments of the past year, Hartsman turns his eye to 2012. The team will be working to:

• make it even easier to play with friends
• make the soul system even better
• make PvP take a "leap forward"
• create more ways to interact with Rift in non-combat ways (weddings, mobile app, etc.)
• create more 10-20 player raid experiences
